The Central African Republic (CAR) is a landlocked country located in Central Africa. It is bordered by Chad, Sudan, South Sudan, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the Republic of the Congo. The country has a diverse population of around 5 million people, with over 100 ethnic groups and more than 80 languages spoken. The capital and largest city is Bangui. The country has a history of political instability and has experienced several civil wars, including one that began in 2013. The country is rich in natural resources, including diamonds, gold, and uranium, but the economy is one of the poorest in the world.
