Eritrea

Eritrea is a small, arid country in the Horn of Africa. It has a diverse landscape, with mountains, deserts, and coastal areas. The capital city is Asmara, which is known for its Italian colonial architecture. The official languages are Tigrinya and Arabic, and the majority of the population practices Islam. Eritrea has a long history of conflict, including a 30-year struggle for independence from Ethiopia that ended in 1991.
