The website/service you are using is run by a private company. At any time we can restrict or take away your ability to get, post, or upload content to our site.

Ownership

Any original content or media you upload to the site that was created by you is yours and can not be used in any advertising or monetization purposes by us without permission from you.

Account Deletion

If you choose to delete your account you can do so inside your account settings. Once you request your account to be deleted it will take 2 weeks for us to process this request and for your information to be removed. At any time during the first week you can log back into your account to cancel the account deletion.

Changes to This Terms and Conditions

We may update our Terms and Conditions from time to time. Thus, we advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.

Traditional Rules

1 - Golden Rule

Treat others how you wish to be treated. Articles Media is a place for creating solutions to problems, not making them. Attacking other users because of their looks/age/gender/disabilities is not allowed. Everyone has a right to use the site free of harassment, bullying, and threats of violence.

2 - No Religion

There is absolutely no place for religion in politics, you can make comparisons but comments such as "As a [Insert Religion] I disagree..." or "The bible says..." will get you banned. We do not deny usage of the site based on religion, but using religious points/claims instead of scientific is not allowed.

3 - Respect Privacy

Respect the privacy of others. Instigating harassment, for example by revealing someone’s personal or confidential information, is not allowed. Never post or threaten to post intimate or sexually-explicit media of someone.

4 - Nothing Illegal

This should go without saying, if it is illegal in the United States, it is illegal on Articles Media.

5 - No Multiple Accounts

One account per human! Creating multiple accounts or fake accounts will result in all your accounts being banned.

6 - No Scripting

The automation of content including but not limited to comments, submissions, posts, votes, or responses using third party tools is not allowed. Please only use the tools we provide.

7 - API Abuse

Don’t break the site or do anything that interferes with normal use of Articles Media. At this time we recommend not accessing any content by it's API route, we will publish an official public API soon.

8 - Election Denial

Please adhere to widely accepted, verified sources regarding elections and results to help maintain a constructive and factual discussion space.
